2018 Elisabetta Foradori 'Fontanasanta' Nosiola
Elisabetta Foradori has been a champion of the native grapes of her region, Trento in the Dolomites, Italy's alpine North, for many decades. Nosiola is the only native white Trentino variety. It has traditionally been fermented on skins, in this case 8 months in clay 'tinajas'. This is an intensely cerebral, layered wine - rich and alive with vitality and energy.
