Born in Dijon to a non-winemaking family, Julien Sunier decided in his teens to pursue a career in wine. His interest was fostered by Christophe Roumier of Domaine Roumier, a wealthy, highly regarded Burgundy estate.
In 2007 he purchased two hectares in Fleurie, Beaujolais - which he farmed organically from the outset. Today his domaine extends to a little over 5 hectares with holdings in Fleurie, Régnié and Morgon.
Spicy and exotic, medium-bodied, super juice.
A great example of the new generation of Beaujolais.
